About Leomar Moring

I've always believed that the most meaningful stories begin with people.

Whether I'm filming a documentary interview, producing public-facing communications, covering a live event, or creating a campaign film, my goal is the same: help organizations communicate with honesty, clarity, and purpose.

Every project begins by listening — because the strongest stories are not imposed on people. They are discovered with them.

Philosophy

Every Story Starts With Listening.

Before the camera is turned on, I take time to understand the people, purpose, audience, and responsibility behind the story.

That process shapes everything that follows — from the interview questions and visual direction to the pacing, sound, and final delivery.

The goal is not simply to make something look cinematic. The goal is to help people understand, care, and remember.

Background

More Than Sixteen Years Behind the Story.

For more than sixteen years, I've worked across documentary filmmaking, public-agency communications, nonprofit storytelling, branded content, campaign media, interviews, live events, and digital production.

My experience includes independent production, in-house media leadership, public-sector communications, nonprofit storytelling, and long-form documentary cinematography.

That range allows me to move comfortably between strategy and production, helping teams clarify the story before solving how it should be filmed.

Documentary Approach

The Camera Should Never Be More Important Than the Person.

Documentary work requires patience, trust, preparation, and respect.

I approach interviews with the understanding that people are often sharing experiences that are personal, emotional, or historically significant.

My role is to create an environment where subjects feel heard, supported, and represented honestly.
